Longueuil, its boroughs and its property types: how to photograph plexes, bungalows and condos, what the drone can do near Saint-Hubert airport, and the flat $50 travel fee.

Longueuil is nineteen minutes from our starting point, by the Jacques-Cartier Bridge or the tunnel depending on the hour, and it is the most varied market on the South Shore: Vieux-Longueuil and its plexes, Saint-Hubert and its bungalows, Greenfield Park and its brick houses, and condos near the metro. Here is how the session adapts, and what travel costs.

Travel: a flat $50, whatever the number of services

Longueuil is in our extended zone. Travel is a flat $50, once per session, whether you order photos only or photos, video, drone and 2D plan together. It is shown in the online estimator before booking. Packages are the same as everywhere else: a condo is photographed for $175 in Longueuil as in Montreal. Vieux-Longueuil: plexes and older houses

Around Rue Saint-Charles and the metro, the stock looks like a central Montreal neighbourhood: duplexes, triplexes, older houses with character, narrow streets and mature trees. Saint-Hubert: the bungalow and the family home

Saint-Hubert is the territory of the 1960s to 1980s bungalow and the more recent cottage, with a yard, a finished basement and often a pool. The buyer is a family or a first-time buyer comparing with Boucherville and Brossard. Standard session: 35 to 40 photos, exterior, basement, garage, yard, and the $100 2D plan for extended bungalows.

Greenfield Park and Le Moyne: the brick house

Established neighbourhoods, brick houses from the 1950s to 1970s, tree-lined streets. Character and upkeep are the arguments; recent renovations must be clearly visible. Standard session, frequent twilight photo to bring out the facades.

Condos near the metro and the river

Along the river and near the Longueuil metro, towers and recent buildings with a view of Montreal. The view is argument number one: it is photographed from the balcony and through the windows, in HDR, and at twilight if it faces downtown. Common areas count; arrange access. The drone in Longueuil: Saint-Hubert airport

A large part of Longueuil sits in the controlled airspace of Saint-Hubert airport, one of the busiest in the region. The drone is possible there, but with an advanced-certified pilot, often prior authorization, and a limited height depending on the area. That is our job: at booking we check the address, obtain the authorization if required and confirm ahead what is possible. In the areas closest to the runways, the flight may be limited; we tell you before, not on the day of the session.

The calendar

The bridge and the tunnel dictate the hour: we schedule Longueuil sessions outside rush hours when possible, which also protects the midday light for exteriors. Busy spring, book early.

Grouping with Brossard and Boucherville

Longueuil, Brossard, Boucherville and Saint-Lambert are close. Two listings on the South Shore in the same week is a single $50 trip if they are booked the same day.
